Born in New Mexico and raised in Ecuador, Doralice has lived a fantastic life so far. She is Italian & Palestinian and is fluent in Spanish. Her strong roots and family ties have supported her as she lives each day to the fullest. Doralice was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta which has limited her physical ability. That said, she works tirelessly in the hospitality industry that welcomed her with open arms 30 years ago.
She has worked as a chef in restaurants and catering companies around the Bay Area. Doralice owned and operated The Cheese Shop of Healdsburg for 16 years.
Currently Doralice divides her time between cheese and wine. She co-owns Locals Tasting Room with her father as well as their family wine brand Denier-Handal. She is a consultant for Fresca Italia Imports in the North Bay.
