Michelle Wood is a first generation Chinese American from NYC, rooted in Northern California for over 25 years. Her love affair with food began with mom’s nurturing hands teaching her to roll egg rolls and wrap dumplings rich with the flavors of our homeland. Educated and trained with a long career in the sciences, she works from a foundation of over 20 years, managing high throughput laboratories all the while knowing that her passion was elsewhere. Her desire to step out of the scientific world, a strong entrepreneurial mind, combined with the love of food inspired her transformation into a self-taught chef and owner of a successful catering business established in 2014.
